Glasgow Airport Landscape Framework
In 1989, ASH prepared a soft landscape Masterplan for Glasgow Airport which provided an update to the previous masterplan of 1983 and covered areas of the Airport affected by the redevelopment and expansion of facilities proposed at that time and completed in 1992.
Most of the proposals identified in ASH's report of 1989 were implemented between 1990 and 1992 and now provide a semi-mature landscape framework for the Airport.
Glasgow Airport Masterplan Update
In 2000, BAA commissioned ASH to provide an update to the 1989 Soft Landscape Masterplan for Glasgow Airport which accommodated the increase in passenger numbers and associated developments to meet the passenger forecasts. The new developments included a multi storey car park and a 5 star hotel opposite the Terminal Building.
ASH developed detail designs for landscape treatment at the interface between the new multi storey and the Terminal Forecourt. ASH has been retained as BAA's framework environmental consultants, advising on developments at Glasgow Airport.
