We coordinate and contribute to the environmental impact assessment of projects throughout the UK
Environmental impact assessment (EIA) provides a framework for evaluating the effects of development and policies on the existing environment and communities. ASH have been at the forefront of EIA for many years, having undertaken one of the earliest environmental impact assessments in the country in connection with recreational provision in the Cairngorms.
Our rigorous approach to the environmental impact assessment of projects ranging from renewable energy and infrastructure schemes to specific developments such as housing and landmark developments ensures we produce robust reporting on environmental matters and are able to present expert evidence at public inquiry when required.
Environmental Impact Assessment Services
The ASH team of environmental consultants and landscape architects assist in the delivery of projects from inception through to completion offering a variety of services related to the environmental impact assessment process. These include:

Specialist Expertise
Where expertise from other professionals for environmental impact assessment on topics such as archaeology, ecology, ornithology, soils, water, noise and transport is required, we draw on our network of trusted sub-consultants and co-ordinate and manage their inputs into the EIA process to provide a one stop shop for environmental impact assessment services.
