Andrew Curds, Managing Director at ASH
Andrew joined ASH in 2006 and has 20 years of experience in environmental consultancy.
Andrew is a Full Member of IEMA, a Chartered Environmentalist, and holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees within the fields of geography and environmental management (BSc Hons) and environmental impact assessment (MA).
Andrew specialises in EIA and has helped clients secure consent for some of the largest onshore renewable and other energy-related infrastructure projects in Scotland, including over 500 MW of onshore wind and hydroelectric generation, a 1500 MW pumped storage hydro scheme and nationally significant grid infrastructure projects.
Many of the projects Andrew has been involved in are located within sensitive environments. Through early involvement in projects, and engagement with key stakeholders, Andrew leads internal and external teams to find the best practicable environmental solutions for clients and their projects, as well as identifying environmental enhancement opportunities.
