As part of BAA’s commitment to creating a high quality environment at Airports, ASH has been involved with the landscape strategy design and implementation at Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports over a number of years.

What we did
ASH prepared a soft Landscape Masterplan for Glasgow Airport which provided an update to the previous masterplan and covered areas of the Airport affected by the redevelopment and expansion of facilities proposed at that time. Most of the proposals identified in ASH’s report now provide a semi-mature landscape framework for the Airport.
More recently, BAA commissioned ASH to provide an update to the original Landscape Masterplan for Glasgow Airport which accommodated the increase in passenger numbers and associated developments to meet the passenger forecasts. The new developments included a multi storey car park opposite the Terminal Building which ASH developed detail designs for hard and soft landscape treatments at the interface between the new multi storey and the Terminal Forecourt.
